About me

To best understand the origins of my feathered universe, we must start in Rio de Janeiro, where I was left awestruck by the feathers on display in the world’s most beautiful Carnival.

Hundreds of them on costumes, each more shimmering than the last. Feathers! They were everywhere.

Attractive, sunny, lively, vibrant… they won me over and I haven’t looked back since.

After creating my own samba costumes, I decided to take my feathers down another path and began exploring the ancestral art of featherwork.
I studied at the Lycée Octave Feuillet to gain a mastery over featherwork techniques.

And thus… Fanny LITZIA was born

Today, I draw my strength and essence from exploring feathers as a material – fused together with the boundless imagination I put into all my pieces.

Each feather is unique in its color, light and iridescence. Its texture is both light and powerful.

I instill my energy and desires along with my own vision of beauty into each of my pieces. When I bring them into dialogue with each other, the synergy that emerges never fails to surprise – an endlessly renewed sense of wonder.

Paintings, globe compositions and custom-made creations, all crafted to your taste and your home esthetic. The feather becomes a work of art. Your work of art.

I would be delighted to meet with you, share ideas and propose a creation that speaks to you and resonates with your emotions.

My Commitment

Since the dawn of time, nature has gifted us with feathers in exquisite, sometimes exotic, colors. However, through their extensive use, some species have become endangered. Since 1973, the Washington Convention has regulated trade in animal and plant species.

As a feather worker, strict compliance with this convention leads me to use non-protected species. I primarily use farmyard birds such as roosters, guinea fowl, hens, pheasants, peacocks, etc.

Finally, in the spirit of transparency, I hold traceability certificates for all the feathers I use, so that their origins can be certified.
